Recycling and Rubbish |

The Strafford Recycling Committee is committed to promoting re-use and recycling of all materials. To this end, the Committee oversees Strafford's recycling program, coordinating the efforts of local volunteers to make options for recycling common household items available to the entire community on a weekly basis and, with the help of students and other volunteers, to make additional special recycling events available for large or less easily recycled material, such as tires, furniture, appliances and household hazardous waste. Our goal is to make disposal of these items the last resort.
