Approved Application for Designation as a Certified Local Government.
On December 13, 2017, the Selectboard of the Town of Strafford, Vermont, adopted an Ordinance for the establishment of a Historic Preservation Commission in accordance with the regulations for the Vermont Certified Local Government Program. Full text of the Ordinance can be obtained at the Town Clerks Office.

This ordinance shall become effective on February 11, 2018 (or 60 days after its adoption by the Strafford Selectboard). If a petition is filed under 24 V.S.A. 1973 by February 11, 2018, that statute shall govern the taking effect of this ordinance.
